Logger service moved to the plugin/sql_errlog directory to be properly used later. plugin/sql_errlog/sql_errlog.c: Fixes for bugs #956427 (SQL_ERROR_LOG plugin produces bogus warnings about sql-error-log-size-limit value) and #956463 (Server crashes if SQL_ERROR_LOG fails to initialize) they're also MDEV-184 and MDEV-183 The sql_error_log_deinit() should be prepared for the logger_file to be NULL. The format is: MYSQL_VERSION_MAJOR=5 MYSQL_VERSION_MINOR=5 MYSQL_VERSION_PATCH=8 MYSQL_VERSION_EXTRA=-rc The CMake based version extraction in cmake/mysql_version.cmake is changed to extract the version from this file. The configure to CMake wrapper is retained for backwards compatibility and to support the BUILD/ scripts. Also, a new a makefile target show-dist-name that prints the server version is introduced. VERSION: Add top-level version file. cmake/mysql_version.cmake: Get version information from the top-level VERSION file. Do not cache the version components (MAJOR_VERSION, etc). Add MYSQL_RPM_VERSION as a replacement for MYSQL_U_SCORE_VERSION.	15 years ago

The two new service interfaces introduces are: my_thread_scheduler A service interface to register a thread scheduler. thd_wait A service interface to inform thread scheduler that the thread is about to start waiting. In addition, the patch adds code that: - Add a call to thd_wait for table locks in mysys thd_lock.c by introducing a set function that can be used to set a callback to be used when waiting on a lock and resuming from waiting. - Calling the mysys set function from the server to set the callbacks correctly.	16 years ago

Old version of this macro would make link extension the same as in target. This was not sufficient in some scenarios (would not allow for example libmysqlclient_r.so.16=>./libmysqlclient.so link) libmysql/CMakeLists.txt: Install extra symlinks to libmysqlclient.so (libmysqlclient_r.so.16 and libmysqlclient_r.so.16.0.0) for backward compatiblity. libmysqld/CMakeLists.txt: install libmysqld-debug.a libservices/CMakeLists.txt: install mysqlservices library mysql-test/lib/My/SafeProcess/CMakeLists.txt: install my_safe_process, my_safe_kill into correct place	16 years ago
