Nirbhay Choubey	7ec6558503	MDEV-9021: MYSQLD SEGFAULTS WHEN BUILT USING --WITH-MAX-INDEXES=128 The bitmap implementation defines two template Bitmap classes. One optimized for 64-bit (default) wide bitmaps while the other is used for all other widths. In order to optimize the computations, Bitmap<64> class has defined its own member functions for bitmap operations, the other one, however, relies on mysys' bitmap implementation (mysys/my_bitmap.c). Issue 1: In case of non 64-bit Bitmap class, intersect() wrongly reset the received bitmap while initialising a new local bitmap structure (bitmap_init() clears the bitmap buffer) thus, the received bitmap was getting cleared. Fixed by initializing the local bitmap structure by using a temporary buffer and later copying the received bitmap to the initialised bitmap structure. Issue 2: The non 64-bit Bitmap class had the Iterator missing which caused compilation failure. Also added a cmake variable to hold the MAX_INDEXES value when supplied from the command prompt. (eg. cmake .. -DMAX_INDEXES=128U). Checks have been put in place to trigger build failure if MAX_INDEXES value is greater than 128. Test modifications: * Introduced include/have_max_indexes_[64\|128].inc to facilitate skipping of tests for which the output differs with different MAX_INDEXES. * Introduced include/max_indexes.inc which would get modified by cmake to reflect the MAX_INDEXES value used to build the server. This file simply sets an mtr variable '$max_indexes' to show the MAX_INDEXES value, which will then be consumed by the above introduced include file. * Some tests (portions), dependent on MAX_INDEXES value, have been moved to separate test files.	10 years ago

Michael Widenius	ae5bc05988	Fix for MDEV-533: Confusing error code when doing auto-increment insert for out-of-range values create table t1 (a smallint primary key auto_increment); insert into t1 values(32767); insert into t1 values(NULL); ERROR 1062 (23000): Duplicate entry '32767' for key 'PRIMARY Now on always gets error HA_ERR_AUTOINC_RANGE=167 "Out of range value for column", independent of store engine, SQL Mode or number of inserted rows. This is an unique error that is easier to test for in replication. Another bug fix is that we now get an error when trying to insert a too big auto-generated value, even in non-strict mode. Before one get insted the max column value inserted. This patch also fixes some issues with inserting negative numbers in an auto-increment column. Fixed the ER_DUP_ENTRY and HA_ERR_AUTOINC_ERANGE are compared the same between master and slave. This ensures that replication works between an old server to a new slave for auto-increment overflow errors. Added SQLSTATE errors for handler errors Smaller bug fixes: * Added warnings for duplicate key errors when using INSERT IGNORE * Fixed bug when using --skip-log-bin followed by --log-bin, which did set log-bin to "0" * Allow one to see how cmake is called by using --just-print --just-configure BUILD/FINISH.sh: --just-print --just-configure now shows how cmake would be invoked. We now concatenate 2 scripts in custom command that has dependency on both scripts rather than concatenating them at cmake time. sql/CMakeLists.txt: Address frequently asked question "where is distclean" by implementing distclean target that does nothing except pointing to appropriate bzr command. The bug was that ./configure was passing paramers to subscripts as $@, and to handle embedded spaces it needs to be quoted as "$@". This resulting into a bug when ./configure was called e.g with CFLAGS='-m64 -Xstrconst'.. Additionally, fixed cmake/configure.pl did not handle environment variables passed on the command line. this is fixed in this push	16 years ago

Fix contains of : - splitting CC/CXX if there are more that 2 space-delimited tokens, add the rest to CFLAGS (in this case CC was set to "ccache gcc --pipe", and this broke recognition of gcc compiler as CMake understands CC consisting of 2 space delimited tokens but not more) - add my_new.cc to mysys fle list if C++ operator new is not found. Always, not only for gcc (the original problem was that missing operator new when compiling with CXX=gcc)	16 years ago

Subtle differences in both packages unfortunately lead to the need to recompile MySQL to use with other package type - as otherwise for example default plugins or data directories would be wrong set. There are numerous other variables that allow fine-tuning packaging layout. (INSTALL_BINDIR, INSTALL_LIBDIR , INSTALL_PLUGINDIR etc). This options are different from autotools as they do not expect full paths to directories, but only subdirectory of CMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX. There are 2 special options that expect full directory paths - MYSQL_DATADIR that defines default MYSQL data directory (autotools equivalent is --localstatedir) - SYSCONFDIR can be added to search my.cnf search path (autotools equivalent is --sysconfdir)	16 years ago
