  391. Copyright (C) 1989, 1991 Free Software Foundation, Inc.
  392. 51 Franklin Street, Fifth Floor, Boston, MA 02110-1335 USA
  393. Everyone is permitted to copy and distribute verbatim copies
  394. of this license document, but changing it is not allowed.
  395. Preamble
  396. The licenses for most software are designed to take away your freedom to share
  397. and change it. By contrast, the GNU General Public License is intended to
  398. guarantee your freedom to share and change free software--to make sure the
  399. software is free for all its users. This General Public License applies to most
  400. of the Free Software Foundation's software and to any other program whose
  401. authors commit to using it. (Some other Free Software Foundation software is
  402. covered by the GNU Lesser General Public License instead.) You can apply it to
  403. your programs, too.
  404. When we speak of free software, we are referring to freedom, not price. Our
  405. General Public Licenses are designed to make sure that you have the freedom to
  406. distribute copies of free software (and charge for this service if you wish),
  407. that you receive source code or can get it if you want it, that you can change
  408. the software or use pieces of it in new free programs; and that you know you can
  409. do these things.
  410. To protect your rights, we need to make restrictions that forbid anyone to deny
  411. you these rights or to ask you to surrender the rights. These restrictions
  412. translate to certain responsibilities for you if you distribute copies of the
  413. software, or if you modify it.
  414. For example, if you distribute copies of such a program, whether gratis or for a
  415. fee, you must give the recipients all the rights that you have. You must make
  416. sure that they, too, receive or can get the source code. And you must show them
  417. these terms so they know their rights.
  418. We protect your rights with two steps: (1) copyright the software, and (2) offer
  419. you this license which gives you legal permission to copy, distribute and/or
  420. modify the software.
  421. Also, for each author's protection and ours, we want to make certain that
  422. everyone understands that there is no warranty for this free software. If the
  423. software is modified by someone else and passed on, we want its recipients to
  424. know that what they have is not the original, so that any problems introduced by
  425. others will not reflect on the original authors' reputations.
  426. Finally, any free program is threatened constantly by software patents. We wish
  427. to avoid the danger that redistributors of a free program will individually
  428. obtain patent licenses, in effect making the program proprietary. To prevent
  429. this, we have made it clear that any patent must be licensed for everyone's free
  430. use or not licensed at all.
  431. The precise terms and conditions for copying, distribution and modification follow.
  432. TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR COPYING, DISTRIBUTION AND MODIFICATION
  433. 0. This License applies to any program or other work which contains a notice
  434. placed by the copyright holder saying it may be distributed under the terms of
  435. this General Public License. The "Program", below, refers to any such program or
  436. work, and a "work based on the Program" means either the Program or any
  437. derivative work under copyright law: that is to say, a work containing the
  438. Program or a portion of it, either verbatim or with modifications and/or
  439. translated into another language. (Hereinafter, translation is included without
  440. limitation in the term "modification".) Each licensee is addressed as "you".
  441. Activities other than copying, distribution and modification are not covered by
  442. this License; they are outside its scope. The act of running the Program is not
  443. restricted, and the output from the Program is covered only if its contents
  444. constitute a work based on the Program (independent of having been made by
  445. running the Program). Whether that is true depends on what the Program does.
  446. 1. You may copy and distribute verbatim copies of the Program's source code as
  447. you receive it, in any medium, provided that you conspicuously and appropriately
  448. publish on each copy an appropriate copyright notice and disclaimer of warranty;
  449. keep intact all the notices that refer to this License and to the absence of any
  450. warranty; and give any other recipients of the Program a copy of this License
  451. along with the Program.
  452. You may charge a fee for the physical act of transferring a copy, and you may at
  453. your option offer warranty protection in exchange for a fee.
  454. 2. You may modify your copy or copies of the Program or any portion of it, thus
  455. forming a work based on the Program, and copy and distribute such modifications
  456. or work under the terms of Section 1 above, provided that you also meet all of
  457. these conditions:
  458. a) You must cause the modified files to carry prominent notices stating that
  459. you changed the files and the date of any change.
  460. b) You must cause any work that you distribute or publish, that in whole or
  461. in part contains or is derived from the Program or any part thereof, to be
  462. licensed as a whole at no charge to all third parties under the terms of this
  463. License.
  464. c) If the modified program normally reads commands interactively when run,
  465. you must cause it, when started running for such interactive use in the most
  466. ordinary way, to print or display an announcement including an appropriate
  467. copyright notice and a notice that there is no warranty (or else, saying that
  468. you provide a warranty) and that users may redistribute the program under these
  469. conditions, and telling the user how to view a copy of this License. (Exception:
  470. if the Program itself is interactive but does not normally print such an
  471. announcement, your work based on the Program is not required to print an
  472. announcement.)
  473. These requirements apply to the modified work as a whole. If identifiable
  474. sections of that work are not derived from the Program, and can be reasonably
  475. considered independent and separate works in themselves, then this License, and
  476. its terms, do not apply to those sections when you distribute them as separate
  477. works. But when you distribute the same sections as part of a whole which is a
  478. work based on the Program, the distribution of the whole must be on the terms of
  479. this License, whose permissions for other licensees extend to the entire whole,
  480. and thus to each and every part regardless of who wrote it.
  481. Thus, it is not the intent of this section to claim rights or contest your
  482. rights to work written entirely by you; rather, the intent is to exercise the
  483. right to control the distribution of derivative or collective works based on the
  484. Program.
  485. In addition, mere aggregation of another work not based on the Program with the
  486. Program (or with a work based on the Program) on a volume of a storage or
  487. distribution medium does not bring the other work under the scope of this License.
  488. 3. You may copy and distribute the Program (or a work based on it, under Section
  489. 2) in object code or executable form under the terms of Sections 1 and 2 above
  490. provided that you also do one of the following:
  491. a) Accompany it with the complete corresponding machine-readable source
  492. code, which must be distributed under the terms of Sections 1 and 2 above on a
  493. medium customarily used for software interchange; or,
  494. b) Accompany it with a written offer, valid for at least three years, to
  495. give any third party, for a charge no more than your cost of physically
  496. performing source distribution, a complete machine-readable copy of the
  497. corresponding source code, to be distributed under the terms of Sections 1 and 2
  498. above on a medium customarily used for software interchange; or,
  499. c) Accompany it with the information you received as to the offer to
  500. distribute corresponding source code. (This alternative is allowed only for
  501. noncommercial distribution and only if you received the program in object code
  502. or executable form with such an offer, in accord with Subsection b above.)
  503. The source code for a work means the preferred form of the work for making
  504. modifications to it. For an executable work, complete source code means all the
  505. source code for all modules it contains, plus any associated interface
  506. definition files, plus the scripts used to control compilation and installation
  507. of the executable. However, as a special exception, the source code distributed
  508. need not include anything that is normally distributed (in either source or
  509. binary form) with the major components (compiler, kernel, and so on) of the
  510. operating system on which the executable runs, unless that component itself
  511. accompanies the executable.
  512. If distribution of executable or object code is made by offering access to copy
  513. from a designated place, then offering equivalent access to copy the source code
  514. from the same place counts as distribution of the source code, even though third
  515. parties are not compelled to copy the source along with the object code.
  516. 4. You may not copy, modify, sublicense, or distribute the Program except as
  517. expressly provided under this License. Any attempt otherwise to copy, modify,
  518. sublicense or distribute the Program is void, and will automatically terminate
  519. your rights under this License. However, parties who have received copies, or
  520. rights, from you under this License will not have their licenses terminated so
  521. long as such parties remain in full compliance.
  522. 5. You are not required to accept this License, since you have not signed it.
  523. However, nothing else grants you permission to modify or distribute the Program
  524. or its derivative works. These actions are prohibited by law if you do not
  525. accept this License. Therefore, by modifying or distributing the Program (or any
  526. work based on the Program), you indicate your acceptance of this License to do
  527. so, and all its terms and conditions for copying, distributing or modifying the
  528. Program or works based on it.
  529. 6. Each time you redistribute the Program (or any work based on the Program),
  530. the recipient automatically receives a license from the original licensor to
  531. copy, distribute or modify the Program subject to these terms and conditions.
  532. You may not impose any further restrictions on the recipients' exercise of the
  533. rights granted herein. You are not responsible for enforcing compliance by third
  534. parties to this License.
  535. 7. If, as a consequence of a court judgment or allegation of patent infringement
  536. or for any other reason (not limited to patent issues), conditions are imposed
  537. on you (whether by court order, agreement or otherwise) that contradict the
  538. conditions of this License, they do not excuse you from the conditions of this
  539. License. If you cannot distribute so as to satisfy simultaneously your
  540. obligations under this License and any other pertinent obligations, then as a
  541. consequence you may not distribute the Program at all. For example, if a patent
  542. license would not permit royalty-free redistribution of the Program by all those
  543. who receive copies directly or indirectly through you, then the only way you
  544. could satisfy both it and this License would be to refrain entirely from
  545. distribution of the Program.
  546. If any portion of this section is held invalid or unenforceable under any
  547. particular circumstance, the balance of the section is intended to apply and the
  548. section as a whole is intended to apply in other circumstances.
  549. It is not the purpose of this section to induce you to infringe any patents or
  550. other property right claims or to contest validity of any such claims; this
  551. section has the sole purpose of protecting the integrity of the free software
  552. distribution system, which is implemented by public license practices. Many
  553. people have made generous contributions to the wide range of software
  554. distributed through that system in reliance on consistent application of that
  555. system; it is up to the author/donor to decide if he or she is willing to
  556. distribute software through any other system and a licensee cannot impose that
  557. choice.
  558. This section is intended to make thoroughly clear what is believed to be a
  559. consequence of the rest of this License.
  560. 8. If the distribution and/or use of the Program is restricted in certain
  561. countries either by patents or by copyrighted interfaces, the original copyright
  562. holder who places the Program under this License may add an explicit
  563. geographical distribution limitation excluding those countries, so that
  564. distribution is permitted only in or among countries not thus excluded. In such
  565. case, this License incorporates the limitation as if written in the body of this
  566. License.
  567. 9. The Free Software Foundation may publish revised and/or new versions of the
  568. General Public License from time to time. Such new versions will be similar in
  569. spirit to the present version, but may differ in detail to address new problems
  570. or concerns.
  571. Each version is given a distinguishing version number. If the Program specifies
  572. a version number of this License which applies to it and "any later version",
  573. you have the option of following the terms and conditions either of that version
  574. or of any later version published by the Free Software Foundation. If the
  575. Program does not specify a version number of this License, you may choose any
  576. version ever published by the Free Software Foundation.
  577. 10. If you wish to incorporate parts of the Program into other free programs
  578. whose distribution conditions are different, write to the author to ask for
  579. permission. For software which is copyrighted by the Free Software Foundation,
  580. write to the Free Software Foundation; we sometimes make exceptions for this.
  581. Our decision will be guided by the two goals of preserving the free status of
  582. all derivatives of our free software and of promoting the sharing and reuse of
  583. software generally.
  584. NO WARRANTY
  585. 11. BECAUSE THE PROGRAM IS LICENSED FREE OF CHARGE, THERE IS NO WARRANTY FOR THE
  586. PROGRAM, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW. EXCEPT WHEN OTHERWISE STATED
  587. IN WRITING THE COPYRIGHT HOLDERS AND/OR OTHER PARTIES PROVIDE THE PROGRAM "AS
  588. IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT
  589. NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A
  590. PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THE
  591. PROGRAM IS WITH YOU. SHOULD THE PROGRAM PROVE DEFECTIVE, YOU ASSUME THE COST OF
  592. ALL NECESSARY SERVICING, REPAIR OR CORRECTION.
  593. 12. IN NO EVENT UNLESS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW OR AGREED TO IN WRITING WILL
  594. ANY COPYRIGHT HOLDER, OR ANY OTHER PARTY WHO MAY MODIFY AND/OR REDISTRIBUTE THE
  595. PROGRAM AS PERMITTED ABOVE, BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR DAMAGES, INCLUDING ANY GENERAL,
  596. SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY
  597. TO USE THE PROGRAM (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA OR DATA BEING
  598. RENDERED INACCURATE OR LOSSES SUSTAINED BY YOU OR THIRD PARTIES OR A FAILURE OF
  599. THE PROGRAM TO OPERATE WITH ANY OTHER PROGRAMS), EVEN IF SUCH HOLDER OR OTHER
  600. PARTY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
  601. END OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
  602. How to Apply These Terms to Your New Programs
  603. If you develop a new program, and you want it to be of the greatest possible use
  604. to the public, the best way to achieve this is to make it free software which
  605. everyone can redistribute and change under these terms.
  606. To do so, attach the following notices to the program. It is safest to attach
  607. them to the start of each source file to most effectively convey the exclusion
  608. of warranty; and each file should have at least the "copyright" line and a
  609. pointer to where the full notice is found.
  610. one line to give the program's name and an idea of what it does.
  611. Copyright (C) yyyy name of author
  612. This program is free software; you can redistribute it and/or
  613. modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public License
  614. as published by the Free Software Foundation; either version 2
  615. of the License, or (at your option) any later version.
  616. This program is distributed in the hope that it will be useful,
  617. but WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY; without even the implied warranty of
  618. MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. See the
  619. GNU General Public License for more details.
  620. You should have received a copy of the GNU General Public License
  621. along with this program; if not, write to the Free Software
  622. Foundation, Inc., 51 Franklin Street, Fifth Floor, Boston, MA 02110-1335 USA.
  623. Also add information on how to contact you by electronic and paper mail.
  624. If the program is interactive, make it output a short notice like this when it
  625. starts in an interactive mode:
  626. Gnomovision version 69, Copyright (C) year name of author
  627. Gnomovision comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY; for details
  628. type `show w'. This is free software, and you are welcome
  629. to redistribute it under certain conditions; type `show c'
  630. for details.
  631. The hypothetical commands `show w' and `show c' should show the appropriate
  632. parts of the General Public License. Of course, the commands you use may be
  633. called something other than `show w' and `show c'; they could even be
  634. mouse-clicks or menu items--whatever suits your program.
  635. You should also get your employer (if you work as a programmer) or your school,
  636. if any, to sign a "copyright disclaimer" for the program, if necessary. Here is
  637. a sample; alter the names:
  638. Yoyodyne, Inc., hereby disclaims all copyright
  639. interest in the program `Gnomovision'
  640. (which makes passes at compilers) written
  641. by James Hacker.
  642. signature of Ty Coon, 1 April 1989
  643. Ty Coon, President of Vice
  644. This General Public License does not permit incorporating your program into
  645. proprietary programs. If your program is a subroutine library, you may consider
  646. it more useful to permit linking proprietary applications with the library. If
  647. this is what you want to do, use the GNU Lesser General Public License instead
  648. of this License.
  649. Additional Documentation License(s)
  650. innochecksum.c is documented in the MySQL Reference
  651. Manual at http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/innochecksum.html
  652. The Reference Manual is not licensed under the GPL; rather, it
  653. is offered under normal copyright, but with permission to
  654. copy/redistribute electronically.

  715. Please send corrections to this web page to the time zone mailing list.
  716. The tz database
  717. The public-domain time zone database contains code and data that represent the
  718. history of local time for many representative locations around the globe. It is
  719. updated periodically to reflect changes made by political bodies to time zone
  720. boundaries, UTC offsets, and daylight-saving rules. This database (often called
  721. tz or zoneinfo) is used by several implementations, including the GNU C Library
  722. used in GNU/Linux, FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD, Cygwin, DJGPP, HP-UX, IRIX, Mac OS
  723. X, OpenVMS, Solaris, Tru64, and UnixWare.
  724. Each location in the database represents a national region where all clocks
  725. keeping local time have agreed since 1970. Locations are identified by continent
  726. or ocean and then by the name of the location, which is typically the largest
  727. city within the region. For example, America/New_York represents most of the US
  728. eastern time zone; America/Phoenix represents most of Arizona, which uses
  729. mountain time without daylight saving time (DST); America/Detroit represents
  730. most of Michigan, which uses eastern time but with different DST rules in 1975;
  731. and other entries represent smaller regions like Starke County, Indiana, which
  732. switched from central to eastern time in 1991 and switched back in 2006. To use
  733. the database on an extended POSIX implementation set the TZ environment variable
  734. to the location's full name, e.g., TZ="America/New_York".
  735. In the tz database's FTP distribution the code is in the file tzcodeC.tar.gz,
  736. where C is the code's version; similarly, the data are in tzdataD.tar.gz, where
  737. D is the data's version. The following shell commands download these files to a
  738. GNU/Linux or similar host; see the downloaded README file for what to do next.
  739. wget 'ftp://elsie.nci.nih.gov/pub/tz*.tar.gz'
  740. gzip -dc tzcode*.tar.gz | tar -xf -
  741. gzip -dc tzdata*.tar.gz | tar -xf -
  742. The code lets you compile the tz source files into machine-readable binary
  743. files, one for each location. It also lets you read a tz binary file and
  744. interpret time stamps for that location.
  745. The data are by no means authoritative. If you find errors, please send changes
  746. to the time zone mailing list. You can also subscribe to the mailing list,
  747. retrieve the archive of old messages (in gzip compressed format), or retrieve
  748. archived older versions of code and data; there is also a smaller HTTP mirror.

  1035. GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE
  1036. Version 2, June 1991
  1037. Copyright (C) 1989, 1991 Free Software Foundation, Inc.,
1038. 51 Franklin Street, Fifth Floor, Boston, MA 02110-1335 USA
1039. Everyone is permitted to copy and distribute verbatim copies
1040. of this license document, but changing it is not allowed.
  1041. Preamble
1042. The licenses for most software are designed to take away your
1043. freedom to share and change it. By contrast, the GNU General Public
1044. License is intended to guarantee your freedom to share and change free
1045. software--to make sure the software is free for all its users. This
1046. General Public License applies to most of the Free Software
1047. Foundation's software and to any other program whose authors commit to
1048. using it. (Some other Free Software Foundation software is covered by
1049. the GNU Lesser General Public License instead.) You can apply it to
  1050. your programs, too.
1051. When we speak of free software, we are referring to freedom, not
1052. price. Our General Public Licenses are designed to make sure that you
1053. have the freedom to distribute copies of free software (and charge for
1054. this service if you wish), that you receive source code or can get it
1055. if you want it, that you can change the software or use pieces of it
1056. in new free programs; and that you know you can do these things.
1057. To protect your rights, we need to make restrictions that forbid
1058. anyone to deny you these rights or to ask you to surrender the rights.
1059. These restrictions translate to certain responsibilities for you if you
1060. distribute copies of the software, or if you modify it.
1061. For example, if you distribute copies of such a program, whether
1062. gratis or for a fee, you must give the recipients all the rights that
1063. you have. You must make sure that they, too, receive or can get the
1064. source code. And you must show them these terms so they know their
  1065. rights.
1066. We protect your rights with two steps: (1) copyright the software, and
1067. (2) offer you this license which gives you legal permission to copy,
1068. distribute and/or modify the software.
1069. Also, for each author's protection and ours, we want to make certain
1070. that everyone understands that there is no warranty for this free
1071. software. If the software is modified by someone else and passed on, we
1072. want its recipients to know that what they have is not the original, so
1073. that any problems introduced by others will not reflect on the original
  1074. authors' reputations.
1075. Finally, any free program is threatened constantly by software
1076. patents. We wish to avoid the danger that redistributors of a free
1077. program will individually obtain patent licenses, in effect making the
1078. program proprietary. To prevent this, we have made it clear that any
1079. patent must be licensed for everyone's free use or not licensed at all.
1080. The precise terms and conditions for copying, distribution and
  1081. modification follow.
  1082. GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE
1083. TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR COPYING, DISTRIBUTION AND MODIFICATION
1084. 0. This License applies to any program or other work which contains
1085. a notice placed by the copyright holder saying it may be distributed
1086. under the terms of this General Public License. The "Program", below,
1087. refers to any such program or work, and a "work based on the Program"
1088. means either the Program or any derivative work under copyright law:
1089. that is to say, a work containing the Program or a portion of it,
1090. either verbatim or with modifications and/or translated into another
1091. language. (Hereinafter, translation is included without limitation in
1092. the term "modification".) Each licensee is addressed as "you".
1093. Activities other than copying, distribution and modification are not
1094. covered by this License; they are outside its scope. The act of
1095. running the Program is not restricted, and the output from the Program
1096. is covered only if its contents constitute a work based on the
1097. Program (independent of having been made by running the Program).
1098. Whether that is true depends on what the Program does.
1099. 1. You may copy and distribute verbatim copies of the Program's
1100. source code as you receive it, in any medium, provided that you
1101. conspicuously and appropriately publish on each copy an appropriate
1102. copyright notice and disclaimer of warranty; keep intact all the
  1103. notices that refer to this License and to the absence of any warranty;
1104. and give any other recipients of the Program a copy of this License
  1105. along with the Program.
1106. You may charge a fee for the physical act of transferring a copy, and
1107. you may at your option offer warranty protection in exchange for a fee.
1108. 2. You may modify your copy or copies of the Program or any portion
1109. of it, thus forming a work based on the Program, and copy and
1110. distribute such modifications or work under the terms of Section 1
1111. above, provided that you also meet all of these conditions:
1112. a) You must cause the modified files to carry prominent notices
1113. stating that you changed the files and the date of any change.
1114. b) You must cause any work that you distribute or publish, that in
1115. whole or in part contains or is derived from the Program or any
1116. part thereof, to be licensed as a whole at no charge to all third
1117. parties under the terms of this License.
1118. c) If the modified program normally reads commands interactively
1119. when run, you must cause it, when started running for such
1120. interactive use in the most ordinary way, to print or display an
1121. announcement including an appropriate copyright notice and a
1122. notice that there is no warranty (or else, saying that you provide
1123. a warranty) and that users may redistribute the program under
1124. these conditions, and telling the user how to view a copy of this
1125. License. (Exception: if the Program itself is interactive but
1126. does not normally print such an announcement, your work based on
1127. the Program is not required to print an announcement.)
1128. These requirements apply to the modified work as a whole. If
1129. identifiable sections of that work are not derived from the Program,
1130. and can be reasonably considered independent and separate works in
1131. themselves, then this License, and its terms, do not apply to those
1132. sections when you distribute them as separate works. But when you
1133. distribute the same sections as part of a whole which is a work based
1134. on the Program, the distribution of the whole must be on the terms of
1135. this License, whose permissions for other licensees extend to the
1136. entire whole, and thus to each and every part regardless of who wrote it.
1137. Thus, it is not the intent of this section to claim rights or contest
1138. your rights to work written entirely by you; rather, the intent is to
1139. exercise the right to control the distribution of derivative or
1140. collective works based on the Program.
1141. In addition, mere aggregation of another work not based on the Program
1142. with the Program (or with a work based on the Program) on a volume of
1143. a storage or distribution medium does not bring the other work under
1144. the scope of this License.
1145. 3. You may copy and distribute the Program (or a work based on it,
1146. under Section 2) in object code or executable form under the terms of
1147. Sections 1 and 2 above provided that you also do one of the following:
1148. a) Accompany it with the complete corresponding machine-readable
1149. source code, which must be distributed under the terms of Sections
1150. 1 and 2 above on a medium customarily used for software interchange; or,
1151. b) Accompany it with a written offer, valid for at least three
1152. years, to give any third party, for a charge no more than your
1153. cost of physically performing source distribution, a complete
1154. machine-readable copy of the corresponding source code, to be
1155. distributed under the terms of Sections 1 and 2 above on a medium
1156. customarily used for software interchange; or,
1157. c) Accompany it with the information you received as to the offer
1158. to distribute corresponding source code. (This alternative is
1159. allowed only for noncommercial distribution and only if you
1160. received the program in object code or executable form with such
1161. an offer, in accord with Subsection b above.)
1162. The source code for a work means the preferred form of the work for
1163. making modifications to it. For an executable work, complete source
1164. code means all the source code for all modules it contains, plus any
1165. associated interface definition files, plus the scripts used to
1166. control compilation and installation of the executable. However, as a
1167. special exception, the source code distributed need not include
1168. anything that is normally distributed (in either source or binary
1169. form) with the major components (compiler, kernel, and so on) of the
1170. operating system on which the executable runs, unless that component
  1171. itself accompanies the executable.
1172. If distribution of executable or object code is made by offering
1173. access to copy from a designated place, then offering equivalent
1174. access to copy the source code from the same place counts as
1175. distribution of the source code, even though third parties are not
1176. compelled to copy the source along with the object code.
1177. 4. You may not copy, modify, sublicense, or distribute the Program
1178. except as expressly provided under this License. Any attempt
1179. otherwise to copy, modify, sublicense or distribute the Program is
1180. void, and will automatically terminate your rights under this License.
1181. However, parties who have received copies, or rights, from you under
1182. this License will not have their licenses terminated so long as such
1183. parties remain in full compliance.
1184. 5. You are not required to accept this License, since you have not
1185. signed it. However, nothing else grants you permission to modify or
1186. distribute the Program or its derivative works. These actions are
1187. prohibited by law if you do not accept this License. Therefore, by
1188. modifying or distributing the Program (or any work based on the
1189. Program), you indicate your acceptance of this License to do so, and
1190. all its terms and conditions for copying, distributing or modifying
1191. the Program or works based on it.
1192. 6. Each time you redistribute the Program (or any work based on the
1193. Program), the recipient automatically receives a license from the
1194. original licensor to copy, distribute or modify the Program subject to
1195. these terms and conditions. You may not impose any further
1196. restrictions on the recipients' exercise of the rights granted herein.
1197. You are not responsible for enforcing compliance by third parties to
  1198. this License.
1199. 7. If, as a consequence of a court judgment or allegation of patent
1200. infringement or for any other reason (not limited to patent issues),
1201. conditions are imposed on you (whether by court order, agreement or
1202. otherwise) that contradict the conditions of this License, they do not
1203. excuse you from the conditions of this License. If you cannot
1204. distribute so as to satisfy simultaneously your obligations under this
1205. License and any other pertinent obligations, then as a consequence you
1206. may not distribute the Program at all. For example, if a patent
1207. license would not permit royalty-free redistribution of the Program by
1208. all those who receive copies directly or indirectly through you, then
1209. the only way you could satisfy both it and this License would be to
1210. refrain entirely from distribution of the Program.
1211. If any portion of this section is held invalid or unenforceable under
1212. any particular circumstance, the balance of the section is intended to
1213. apply and the section as a whole is intended to apply in other
  1214. circumstances.
1215. It is not the purpose of this section to induce you to infringe any
1216. patents or other property right claims or to contest validity of any
1217. such claims; this section has the sole purpose of protecting the
1218. integrity of the free software distribution system, which is
1219. implemented by public license practices. Many people have made
1220. generous contributions to the wide range of software distributed
1221. through that system in reliance on consistent application of that
1222. system; it is up to the author/donor to decide if he or she is willing
1223. to distribute software through any other system and a licensee cannot
  1224. impose that choice.
1225. This section is intended to make thoroughly clear what is believed to
1226. be a consequence of the rest of this License.
1227. 8. If the distribution and/or use of the Program is restricted in
1228. certain countries either by patents or by copyrighted interfaces, the
1229. original copyright holder who places the Program under this License
1230. may add an explicit geographical distribution limitation excluding
1231. those countries, so that distribution is permitted only in or among
1232. countries not thus excluded. In such case, this License incorporates
1233. the limitation as if written in the body of this License.
1234. 9. The Free Software Foundation may publish revised and/or new versions
1235. of the General Public License from time to time. Such new versions will
1236. be similar in spirit to the present version, but may differ in detail to
1237. address new problems or concerns.
1238. Each version is given a distinguishing version number. If the Program
1239. specifies a version number of this License which applies to it and "any
1240. later version", you have the option of following the terms and conditions
1241. either of that version or of any later version published by the Free
1242. Software Foundation. If the Program does not specify a version number of
1243. this License, you may choose any version ever published by the Free Software
  1244. Foundation.
1245. 10. If you wish to incorporate parts of the Program into other free
1246. programs whose distribution conditions are different, write to the author
1247. to ask for permission. For software which is copyrighted by the Free
1248. Software Foundation, write to the Free Software Foundation; we sometimes
1249. make exceptions for this. Our decision will be guided by the two goals
1250. of preserving the free status of all derivatives of our free software and
1251. of promoting the sharing and reuse of software generally.
  1252. NO WARRANTY
1253. 11. BECAUSE THE PROGRAM IS LICENSED FREE OF CHARGE, THERE IS NO WARRANTY
1254. FOR THE PROGRAM, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW. EXCEPT WHEN
1255. OTHERWISE STATED IN WRITING THE COPYRIGHT HOLDERS AND/OR OTHER PARTIES
1256. PROVIDE THE PROGRAM "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED
1257. OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF
1258. MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE ENTIRE RISK AS
1259. TO THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THE PROGRAM IS WITH YOU. SHOULD THE
1260. PROGRAM PROVE DEFECTIVE, YOU ASSUME THE COST OF ALL NECESSARY SERVICING,
  1261. REPAIR OR CORRECTION.
1262. 12. IN NO EVENT UNLESS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW OR AGREED TO IN WRITING
1263. WILL ANY COPYRIGHT HOLDER, OR ANY OTHER PARTY WHO MAY MODIFY AND/OR
1264. REDISTRIBUTE THE PROGRAM AS PERMITTED ABOVE, BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR DAMAGES,
1265. INCLUDING ANY GENERAL, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING
1266. OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PROGRAM (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED
1267. TO LOSS OF DATA OR DATA BEING RENDERED INACCURATE OR LOSSES SUSTAINED BY
1268. YOU OR THIRD PARTIES OR A FAILURE OF THE PROGRAM TO OPERATE WITH ANY OTHER
1269. PROGRAMS), EVEN IF SUCH HOLDER OR OTHER PARTY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE
  1270. POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
1271. END OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1272. How to Apply These Terms to Your New Programs
1273. If you develop a new program, and you want it to be of the greatest
1274. possible use to the public, the best way to achieve this is to make it
1275. free software which everyone can redistribute and change under these terms.
1276. To do so, attach the following notices to the program. It is safest
1277. to attach them to the start of each source file to most effectively
1278. convey the exclusion of warranty; and each file should have at least
1279. the "copyright" line and a pointer to where the full notice is found.
  1280. Copyright (C)
1281. This program is free software; you can redistribute it and/or modify
1282. it under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by
1283. the Free Software Foundation; either version 2 of the License, or
1284. (at your option) any later version.
1285. This program is distributed in the hope that it will be useful,
1286. but WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY; without even the implied warranty of
1287. MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. See the
1288. GNU General Public License for more details.
1289. You should have received a copy of the GNU General Public License along
1290. with this program; if not, write to the Free Software Foundation, Inc.,
1291. 51 Franklin Street, Fifth Floor, Boston, MA 02110-1335 USA.
1292. Also add information on how to contact you by electronic and paper mail.
1293. If the program is interactive, make it output a short notice like this
1294. when it starts in an interactive mode:
1295. Gnomovision version 69, Copyright (C) year name of author
1296. Gnomovision comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY; for details type `show w'.
1297. This is free software, and you are welcome to redistribute it
1298. under certain conditions; type `show c' for details.
1299. The hypothetical commands `show w' and `show c' should show the appropriate
1300. parts of the General Public License. Of course, the commands you use may
1301. be called something other than `show w' and `show c'; they could even be
1302. mouse-clicks or menu items--whatever suits your program.
1303. You should also get your employer (if you work as a programmer) or your
1304. school, if any, to sign a "copyright disclaimer" for the program, if
1305. necessary. Here is a sample; alter the names:
1306. Yoyodyne, Inc., hereby disclaims all copyright interest in the program
1307. `Gnomovision' (which makes passes at compilers) written by James Hacker.
  1308. , 1 April 1989
1309. Ty Coon, President of Vice
1310. This General Public License does not permit incorporating your program into
1311. proprietary programs. If your program is a subroutine library, you may
1312. consider it more useful to permit linking proprietary applications with the
1313. library. If this is what you want to do, use the GNU Lesser General
1314. Public License instead of this License.
