Update the various project files with Python/random.c which was recently added.
On my old Windows XP computer:
- VS8.0 works reasonably.
- I don't have the VS7.1 compiler.
- VC6 does not compile, at least with the SDK shipped with the compiler (12 years ago!); newer SDKs might work.

most of the remaining backwards-compatibility concerns about
the conversion of Python 2.7 from CObjects to capsules.
* CObjects were marked Pending Deprecation.

* The capsule source files were added to the legacy PC build
processes.

The main io module now uses the C implementation. The Python one still exists
in Lib/_pyio.py for ease of testing new features and usefulness to other
implementers.
The rewrite was done by Antoine Pitrou and Amaury Forgeot d'Arc. I was slightly
helpful at the end. :)

and certainly not useful for any Windows build.

#3996: On Windows, PyOS_CheckStack is supposed to protect the interpreter from
stack overflow. But doing this, it always crashes when the stack is nearly full.
Reviewed by Martin von Loewis. Will backport to 2.6.

/D "MODULE_NAME=\"sqlite3\""
caused extra leading space like
#define MODULE_NAME " sqlite3"
so uses
/D MODULE_NAME=\"sqlite3\"
instead.

changed the way of modifying stack size

Restore support for Microsoft VC6 compiler.
Some functions in the msvcrt module are skipped,
and socket.ioctl is enabled only when using a more recent Platform SDK.
(and yes, there are still companies that use a 10-years old compiler)

For some yet unknown reason, MSVC's linker fails to resolve
_stringio's module initializer (PyInit__stringio). This probably means
the module is not build correctly. Therefore, I am removing Windows
support temporarily until I find how to add new modules properly for
MSVC.
