Guido van Rossum	cc2b016125	- PEP 3106: dict.iterkeys(), .iteritems(), .itervalues() are now gone; and .keys(), .items(), .values() return dict views. The dict views aren't fully functional yet; in particular, they can't be compared to sets yet. but they are useful as "iterator wells". There are still 27 failing unit tests; I expect that many of these have fairly trivial fixes, but there are so many, I could use help.	19 years ago

There's one major and one minor category still unfixed: doctests are the major category (and I hope to be able to augment the refactoring tool to refactor bona fide doctests soon); other code generating print statements in strings is the minor category. Large: The output of untokenize() will now match the input exactly if it is passed the full token sequence. The old, crufty output is still generated if a limited input sequence is provided, where limited means that it does not include position information for tokens. Remaining bug: There is no CONTINUATION token (\) so there is no way for untokenize() to handle such code. Other (yet unsolved) package problems noted by Sjoerd: - If you have a package and a module inside that or another package with the same name, module caching doesn't work properly since the key is the base name of the module/package. - The only entry that is returned when you readmodule a package is a __path__ whose value is a list which confuses certain class browsers that I wrote. Uncomment the new "String" stuff and it will deal with strings correctly (pyclbr currently ignores the possibility), but that slows it down a lot.
