serge-sans-paille	5ad36f9b21	bpo-28015: Support LTO build with clang (GH-9908) .o generated by clang in LTO mode actually are LLVM bitcode files, which leads to a few errors during configure/build step: - add lto flags to the BASECFLAGS instead of CFLAGS, as CFLAGS are used to build autoconf test case, and some are not compatible with clang LTO (they assume binary in the .o, not bitcode) - force llvm-ar instead of ar, as ar is not aware of .o files generated by clang -flto	7 years ago

Christian Heimes	ff5be6e810	bpo-32598: Use autoconf to detect usable OpenSSL (#5242 ) Add https://www.gnu.org/software/autoconf-archive/ax_check_openssl.html to auto-detect compiler flags, linker flags and libraries to compile OpenSSL extensions. The M4 macro uses pkg-config and falls back to manual detection. Add autoconf magic to detect usable X509_VERIFY_PARAM_set1_host() and related functions.
